Jad Haber is a member of the Australian Directors Guild. From an early age, he nurtured a strong artistic sensibility studying music, photography and film. At a very young age, Jad has directed his first feature film, "The End Of The Beginning" and completed his Bachelor of Arts in Film that same year.
In 2003, he completed his masters degree in Film and Digital Video at The University Of Sydney, adding a masters degree in Digital Media and VFX to his resume whilst there. Recently, Jad has added to his reservoir a Post-Graduate degree in directing at AFTRS.

He graduated with a high distinction and was placed on the "Dean's Honor List". He focuses his career on commercials and music videos and has become a sought after director with a solid reputation for constructing engaging stories through accurate casting and a sharp eye for detail.

As a director/designer with a strong background in post-production (Senior Compositor/Editor
with hands-on SHAKE, NUKE, FCP and AVID); he has directed more than 50 commercials. Along the way, he worked as a vfx compositor on Baz Luhrmann’s feature film "AUSTRALIA" and collaborated with Academy Award winner/nominee Catherine Martin and Dody Dorn. Recently, he has finished working on the new BBC/Animal Logic feature "Walking with Dinosaurs".
In addition, he has written and directed two award-winning short films; "Nora" and "Deja-vu".
He has built a diverse reel of vfx and directorial pieces focusing on Music Videos and TV Commercials and has worked with an impressive range of artists and clients including like Kasey Chambers, James Reyne, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Nike, Neurofen, Codral, Pure Blonde, Three, Vodafone, Sofitel, Deals Direct, Massel, Crime Stoppers, to name a few.

It is this general proficiency across multiple departments that makes out his work. In addition, he is just as comfortable behind a camera as he is supervising complex post-production projects.

For the last two years he has given lectures in digital compositing and vfx design for post-graduate students at The University of Sydney.
